Extended Chords

Here are some of the most common chords used in playing jazz, some smoother types of rock and a lot of funk.

If you are using a jazz fake book, you will find most of the chords you need in these three pages.

The first two pages give chords that are simple to use. Chords played on only the top four strings work better with a bass player, are a bit harder to understand, but sound very jazzy.
